All About Going Energy Efficient

Shaping the Economy Using All Types of Alternative Energy

The 1973 oil embargo have made the world realize just how important it is to develop a long-term strategy in developing and utilizing all types of alternative energy sources as viable replacements for fossil fuels. Nations and economies were shaped on how much dependence they have on oil and other similar fuel sources, and this in turn shaped the way individuals set their lifestyles.

Short, intermediate and long-term plans and strategies in harnessing all types of alternative energy should be developed by nations around the world and the United States will once again be in the forefront of such endeavor. Efforts and planning initiatives should be established to compare types of alternative energy to determine which type of energy will be used in the near future and shape the new economy.

Harnessing All Types of Alternative Energy

The first step in harnessing all types of alternative energy and come up with the most viable source is to determine and decide what kind of primary energy is needed for a particular economic situation. This includes electricity, low and high heat, fuels for transportation and improved energy efficiency and utilization. Knowing which energy type would be required would drive the planning required to establish energy services and assess its impact on the environment.

Choosing the best options or mix of energy options from all types of alternative energy sources involves weighing the disadvantages and advantages of each type and its feasibility in replacing existing forms of energy sources. With 80 percent of pollution in the air over the Uniter States caused by the combustion of fossil fules from cars, homes, power plants and industries, great consideration should also be given to the energy source among all types of alternative energy that has the lease environmental impact.

Moving Forward Using All Types of Alternative Energy

The price of fossil fuels and other non-renewable energy sources like natural gas and coal will continue to spiral and rise uncontrollably as reserves continue to dwindle and eventually dry out. Such occurrences will trigger a massive global depression of economies and this can only be prevented if all types of alternative energy resources are fully utilized and in place.

With advancements and developments in technologies that drive all types of alternative energy sources, products and innovative solutions are available that are low-cost and efficient for installation to homes and commercial establishments. Solar power alone is expected to provide up to 20 to 30 percent of electric power in the world in the next 40 years, with another 15 to 20 percent to be provided by wind energy. These promising figures give further drive in the development of all types of alternative energy sources.

On top of this, the production of other products like chemicals, pesticides, plastics, fertilizers, synthetic fibers and medicines that rely widely on petrochemical products will shift to biomass fuel that is made from organic matter. This, and all other types of alternative energy sources, can give the world a brighter future.
